NAS server disappears until I manually rescan

I have an AS4004T, and I've tried every DLNA app on app store, and they all have the same problem. I have to re-scan basically every time I want to use it, otherwise my devices don't find the DLNA server. I'm using Roku Media Center for video, and Hi-Fi Cast on my phone for audio, but they both have the same problem. Has anyone else had this problem?
