16 GB RAM in AS6404T: SUCCESS with Komputerbay Dual-Channel Macmemory

Inspired by the below post, I ordered 2 x 8 GB Timetec RAM to upgrade the 2 x 4 GB in my AS6404T:

However, this failed miserably, as described here:

After doing some reading, I found that the AS6404T is actually configured for Dual-Channel memory:

A serch of Amazon revealed only one RAM of the desired type - 8GB 204pin 1.35v DDR3-1867 SO-DIMM 1867/14900S (1867MHz, CL13) - that also explicitly said it was Dual-Channel. This was the below memory designed for 2015 iMacs (!) from Komputerbay:

Since I already had wasted som money on the Timetec memory, I decided to take a risk and waste some more. Lo and behold: when the iMac memory arrived today it worked in my AS6404T out of the box.

I have one question: is the First start lower?

I buy other model, buy dual Channel and CL-11 Crucial. The nas turn on LEDs but, stucks in starting system

Unfortunately it didn't work. The HD lights don't light up. It just shows the message: please wait, system starting.
