Loading Files from Desktop over Home Network

This question is the rest of my most recent post for help. I have a lot of 96000Hz, 24 bit FLAC files I need to get off my RAID array in my desktop. Again I remember reading, there is, or was, an app that sorted files being added to a NAS (from the local network) and placed them in the appropriate folders on the NAS, such that the correct app (Sounds Good) could play them over the HDMI output (I hope). I need to get that procedure active so I can start unloading my RAID array. HDMI is the preferred link to my AV receiver.
