ADM Help Doesn't Match - How to Setup Network drive?

Post by Shiseiji »

I don't have any of the selections referenced in [Help], no "Services" no "Windows." Is it possible to use a AS4002T as a network drive on a Win10 machine?

TIA

Ron

You should have a "Services" icon Image in ADM.
My NAS: Flashtor 6 FS6706T ADM: 4.2.7.RRD1 Router: Technicolor CGM4331COM (XB7)

Arggg, brain dead from too many hours trying to get this set up. I had been in there but nothing I did seemed to make a difference. Then I found my PC didn't have the SMB installed and only SBM1 was listed as available for installation. Default setting is SMB3. I had a password issue and after fixing that missed resetting all the permissions. Have fixed that. I've double checked the IP is valid, it's static. But Windows Explorer is now reporting it can't access the IP and still can't get a drive mapping option. The NAS is listed twice. The one I tested by dragging a folder there is now inaccessible.

Thanks.

Did you find log information under ADM web -> System Information -> Log?
And you can check ADM web -> System Information -> Online users. That should list all connected users.

My misunderstanding was I expected SBM2 & SMB3 to be shown in the Windows Features to be turned on. I finely realized it was on by default and that's why PowerShell is needed to disable it. I'm now connected.
