How do I map a network drive to drop box?

Hello,
Have just installed the drop box app, but it seems to default install to the home directory and I can't figure out how to map a drive to the home directory. It would be easier to just be able to shift the drop box directory from the home folder to the public folder, and I have noticed requests for how to do this. Doesn't seem to be solved?
Can anyone give me some help please?
Using the access control app I've tried to add a user account to the home directory but I still can't manage to map to this drive.
All I want to be able to do is enable a shared folder that remote users can drag stuff in and out of.
I have enabled Easy Access Cloud connect and configured EZ Router and enabled port forwarding on my router but I still can't get in using my assustor name. Am using a Netcomm 3G router....
Thanks and cheers,
