Hi,

there's no sound with this version
it works with the beta apps but with sounds it must be better

Please precise :
ADM version
Asportal version
Xorg version
and join plexmediaplayer.log corresponding to the playback without sound.

Hum! I think with some search in the forum ...
summary :
copy log(s) to /share/Public (your Public shared resource)
then get it from your desktop eventually zip or compress it ... put here as attachement

for PMP
cp /usr/local/AppCentral/pmp/home/plexmediaplayer/logs/plexmediaplayer.log /share/Public/
cp /usr/local/AppCentral/pmp/home/plexmediaplayer/logs/pmphelper.log /share/Public
.... eventually the previous log if you have comparative logs ...

Issue : when i click on the PMP Icon, a black screen appears and then i see the "icon" of my mouse and then a forced closure of the app. back to the main screen of App Central

I can't reproduce the black screen ... please provide a Plexmediaplayer.log also have a look as explain in post viewtopic.php?f=193&t=8277&start=10#p26982
try using scale mode first ...
to know if plexmediaplayer run in the background or really stopped ...
Also have a look to Xorg log ...

The new Asportal / Xorg ... do a lot of screen refresh (black then after some delay back again) ... very bad approach ... perhaps not restarting with your screen ???

I have problem with the Plex Server on my Asustor (even after updating manually to 1.4.4.3485) I can't play music or movies if I use Asustor PlexServer ... when all works fine (plexmediaplayer on Asustor) with OTHER Plex server ???? so
using PMP 1.2.3 on Asustor with new beta Asportal / Xorg ... works with ALL Plex Server BUT not with the local Plex Server (Asustor)

Hi

As you told me, changing the display mode and restarting the application I managed to get the picture. When I run the application I fall on the desktop display. I have to disconnect from Plex. Switch to full-screen mode on the identification screen. Then I have to associate nas to my Plex account to be able to use plexmediaplayer and I have to do this every time I use the application.
If not once launched, everything goes well. I have not restarted my nas yet to see if everything restarts well. I will test as soon as possible.

Hi Spartanineo,

Did you switch back to TV mode and force it in settings ?

to switch back do : /usr/local/AppCentral/pmp/CONTROL/start-stop.sh set_mode tv
and in settings use tv mode in settings / Main / Layout
