Netdata Memory Usage

Postby CPK » Sat Nov 30, 2019 12:57 pm

Hello,

I was just looking at running processes to see what was still eating all my memory besides watch_storage which I keep killing. And now I see a netdata process eating 32.77MB and it is sleeping. I have not had it open for several restarts of my NAS over the last several days or maybe a week now since that last horrid ADM 'update'. So, my question is, why is there a netdata process running when I don't have netdata app running in my browser anywhere? Does just having installed the app mean I will always have it eating at my memory?

TIA
~Chris

You can try this package for watch_storage: https://forum.asustor.com/viewtopic.php?f=240&t=10717
I don't know about netdata. However you might be able to get certain detailed information from asustor support: https://support.asustor.com/
