PhpMyAdmin File Edit Problem

Postby Gene Coleman » Thu Mar 27, 2014 6:45 am

So I installed PhpMyAdmin as my database and I get the warning to change the blowfish secret. I know where it's located and how to change it IF I could get to it! I can access the files in the phpmyadmin folder but I get the 'access 'rights' error when I try to edit the file. Is there a quick fix? I've seen this topic on other forums but I have to say I've yet to find an answer that adequately answers the question.

thx, Gene

I don't remember receiving such a notification when using phpMyAdmin, did you try to remove and re-install it?

Also, are you trying to edit the file through ssh? If you're logging in as admin@asustor then you might have permission problems, so instead, use root@asustor (it's the same password as admin).

Cheers,
Mathias
