Hi,
I am please to provide you for test :
FFMpeg V. 3.1.3 (not static ... all shared libraries include) ATTENTION command changed to keep OFFICIAL ASUSTOR FFmpeg 2.8.3 available (because, perhaps, some tools want to have 2.8 version to run)
===== FOR THE MOMENT ONLY for x86_64 (64 bits) Intel CPU models
===== build first to get serviio 1.7 available with all requested options ...
[Name]
ffmpeg313
[Version]
3.1.3.1
APKG updated solve BUG bad link for ffserver
3.1.3 (as original but adapted to APKG structure)
[SPECIAL]
Default command are :
ffmpeg3
ffplay3
ffprobe3
ffserver3 (only if you create the ffserver.conf file (sample is supply) in /usr/local/AppCentral/etc )
BUT it's possible to change it by replacing start-stop.sh script by another one using the "default / standard" name BUT you must DISABLE the FFMpeg 2.8 from ASUSTOR to use default naming ...
ALSO this imply to change for application using "new name" for command ... (ex. serviio 1.7)
[what is supported ?]
use ffmpeg3 command to list encoders, decoders, etc. ... this include x264, x265, etc. etc.
numer and list too large to be listed here.
[How-to]
Q. : Identify the characteristics of a media file
R. : use ffmpeg3 -i (-hide_banner to suppress lib info.)
ex.
[Download]
(New now in my own private server)
APKG 3.1.3.1 : https://www.father-mande.ovh/A/apkg/ffm ... x86-64.apk
Please return experience here (with error and log in case ... )
Philippe.
