Hi!
I'm new in Asustor NAS. I'm actually running some backup plan to a external drive.
After do the first job, i start again the backup, but i see the app backup again all the stuff "blindly"! It was not supposed to copy only the new files and the modified ones?!
Maybe there's something i'm going wrong...
Hope you can help!
Best regards.

Did you select synchronisation or schedule backup?
If the latter, did you select 'skip if not modified'?

Re: Backup Plan copy all files again
Hello, I am also new here. I also run my backups to my external hard drives via "External Backup". Unfortunately, it always recopies all the data, which is why a backup always runs for many hours. The setting to skip if a file exists does not exist for me. I can set this hook at "FTP backup".

Re: Backup Plan copy all files again
External Backup through ADM isn't the same as Backup Plan (the application installed on your computer), so the settings will be different.
I haven't used it before, but I think what you want is Archive Mode - https://www.asustor.com/online/online_help?id=48

Thank you for the quick reply. I have found the settings and tried them. Worked wonderfully. Must have overlooked. Thanks for the tip!
