Asus competitor had one utility I liked it was called USBCOPY and it had a mirroring feature that worked great,, does ASUSTORE have a similar utility ? I have searched but I dont see anything,, please tell me I am just missing something

AS6508T utility question

I have recently joined ASUSTORE with the AS6508T device, fully loaded with 8 - 4 tb ironwolf drives, I also have a 20tb ext usb drive to save my important data on as a safety precaution..

Take a look at the Backup & Restore utility.
AS5304T - 16GB DDR4 - ADM-OS modded on 2GB RAM
Internal: 4x10TB Toshiba RAID10
External 5 Bay USB3: 4x2TB Seagate modded RAID5 + 480GB Intel SSD for modded read cache (initramfs auto update patch) and Apps

thats not what I want, its looking for another nas, and its also looking for an ip'd device, I want to mirror to a usb device thats connected to my 6508T

sorry I should have looked further.. the "External backup" does it have a mirroring ability ? I dont want it to copy everything over and over

There's an option to use incremental backup which is selected by default. Suggest you read the "Online Help" to familiarize with the NAS.
