I got a notice about a new version of ACC yesterday. I tried to install it. The installer deleted the old version but failed to install the new version.
The error message is: "Unsupported protocol. Only HTTP and FTP protocols are supported."
I believe the installer fails when it is trying to install the Visual C++ redistributables, which are needed for ACC, using a non-functional link.
There is also an issue with previous versions of ACC (I don't know about the non-installable version) due to it using an ancient non-signed version of the usbip-win driver (0.3.0). There is a more recent version of usbip-win (0.3.6) here:
https://github.com/cezanne/usbip-win/re ... v0.3.6-dev
The release notes say:
vhci(wdm or ude) drivers have been certified via MS attestation sign.
So hopefully using the new driver in ACC would solve the signing issue.
Note: I also downloaded the new installer (version 2.1.4.10130) from the ASUSTOR web site, but got the same error message.

Re: Latest ACC for Windows does not install
I found that I was able to solve this by download/install both the x86 and x64 versions of the dependencies before starting the ACC installer. Here is the Microsoft link to those downloads: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/w ... w=msvc-170
