Virtualbox 5 and NIC teaming

Post by jauling »

Does anyone have problems reaching their Virtualbox VM if they enable NIC teaming in ADM? I believe this guide needs to be followed, but I'm not too familiar with ADM to hack this to work.

I ran into this when I enabled teaming. The fix is very simple, no need to hack anything. Most likely, you've got your VM NIC assigned to eth0, which needs to be switched to bond0.

1. Shutdown your VM
2. Go to VM settings
3. Go to Network
4. Select your Network Adapter
5. Name sure the "Name" field is bond0
6. Save and start VM
