What happened to Mylar in App Central?

Mylar is an automated downloader for comics. The user adds the comics they wish to download and mylar will attempt to find the comic and download it.

What happened to Mylar in App Central?

Post by JeremyCreekit »

Hey folks. When I navigate to the All Apps tab and search for Mylar, nothing comes up? Has it been removed from the Asustor App Central? When will it be back? Thanks!

Weird...
I don't see any history of it under my developer account (not in published, not in removed, not currently there...) but I certainly see posts where I commented on it, I have it installed on my system, and I have the originally packaged App.

So it appears some database migration in the developer portal has lost all traces of this App???

Anyway, I have not made any changes but here is the last version I posted back in 2013.

I should be able to re-add it...

Doing so will have this checked by Asustor and based on recent updates, that means I probably need to make a few improvements and ensure it is compatible with newer systems...

In short, It comes down to me finding time to update, test and submit to app central...

So the question then is, what is the demand? Is Mylar still being actively developed?

It's still being developed afaik. As for demand, I don't know. I thought they might have download stats from the App Central to confirm that? Thanks!

Bump,
I really would like to see Mylar. Is there still a change to see it?

Yes, that also makes many people curious about what happens inside it

The package still exists - https://appdownload.asustor.com/0010_14 ... 7a_any.apk

However, it is only v2, and it was last updated in 2013, so I'm not sure it's even compatible anymore.

The current solution would be by Docker - https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/mylar3
