Slow intranet

Hi
I have set up our AS 1002T v2 with Wordpress and is running an intranet on it for our clinic.
But when my colleagues in the office access the pages it takes a very long time for the pages to download and be visible. The system seems to be working forever (at least 20-30 sec, sometimes over 1 minute) before a new page is seen.
As we have very little data on the NAS and we are max10 people accessing the intranet, I guess there is some setting that is incorrect or something else that I have missed.
Anyone that could give my some tips how to speed it up?
