Auto mount and share USB disks.
Good morning. I have a question that is not directly related to the NAS but I think some of you can clear it up for me. When I connect a pendrive or external hard drive to the NAS, it is automatically mounted and shared on the network. What is the command or script responsible for this? It's not the udev, right? Is there a way to reproduce this behavior on another Linux system?

Re: Auto mount and share USB disks.
No ADM doesn't use udev, it has its own daemons responsible of handling these such as stormand and volmand. It's proprietary to Asustor not open source so it's not clear how it actually works.
