Hi,
I have an as 1004 t, which I have been using for several years for backups. Recently, however, full support for some Asustor series ended, including the AS 10. Only limited support remains, which only includes some ADM fixes and security updates. The latest ADM will no longer be supported. Will it be possible use this one without problems in the near future or this is a reason to buy a new one with full support?
Thanks
Charles

Re: AS 10 series support
If you're using it mainly for local only especially for backups think it should be fine for many long years.

Re: AS 10 series support
why is this? I have an AS1004T as well. I received an update last week. Does this mean ADM won't get updates anymore? Was this published in an article or something?charlesko1 wrote:Hi,

Asustor newsletter issue 172 :
"AS10, AS50, AS51 and AS70 series of NAS will no longer be receiving feature updates due to the recent termination of vendor support for drivers. ADM 4.0 will be the last major version for these models. Only security updates and critical bug fixes will be provided."

Re: AS 10 series support
This is pretty rubbish from my POV. I've only had my AS1002T v2 four years from new. This platform will never get php 7.4 now. This and the Deadbolt debacle (not that I got hit), I won't be buying Asustor again.
