Hi All
My AS31 is beeping from time to time. Nothing relevant in the logs.
Is there a table explaining what the beeps would mean?
It beeps 3 times out of nowhere.
Thanks!

Re: Beep - Error codes table
Couldn't find any documented beep/buzzer codes for Asustor unfortunately. You could go to Settings > Hardware > Buzzer and disable them one at a time, see which one stops the beeps. At least that might narrow down what the issue might be.
There aren't any LEDs flashing, or loss of connection when these beeps happen?
Beyond that, here's a few ideas to check, in case you missed one:
- Fan still working? Temps ok?
- Disk Doctor showing any issues?
- If you use IronWolf Health Management, does it show any issues?
- Low on space?
- Everything in System Information look ok? Dr Asustor able to diagnose the issue?

Re: Beep - Error codes table
I checked everything:
1- fan, temperature ok.
2- disk is doing raid sync, but looks ok.
3- Using IronWolf Health Management, everything seems fine.
4- DIsks are new, plenty of space.
5- Everything looks fine.
The buzzer is set for any event, but when I check the log, there is nothing there.
Any suggestions on how to improve log collection or get more data?
Cheers!

Well I was about to say export the health record, but it's password protected, and not with your own password (or anything obvious I could think of, feel free to have a go though).
Looks like Asustor Support are the only ones meant to access it.
Heaven forbid a user try to get information about their own device...
The only location I found any extra information was the root tmp folder, and that was pretty sparse.
Short of someone more knowledgeable being able to enlighten us, I think you'd have to export the health record and send it to Asustor Support.

Well, that's truly odd and abnormal. You'd better to contact to asustor support directly. They should be able to check it remotely.restlessmindless wrote:I checked everything:
