anyone has experience with external Toshiba USB drives?
I own NAS model AS3104T.
My problem is that the drives are detected ONLY when connected before I start NAS. USB HDDs are not detected "on the fly".
I have 2 external Toshiba Canvio Basics 2Tb (year 2015-2016) and 2 Toshiba Canvio Basics 4Tb disks (year 2019).
Tried different cables, tried 3 USB ports on NAS.
The read/write speed is also very low, around 10 Mb/sec. It looks like it's working in USB2 mode.
I have no problems connecting the same external drives to the Windows 10 and Linux machines.
Updating ADM from 3.1.3 to 3.4.2 did not help.
I suspect this is pure compatibility issues between Toshiba and Asustor.
What I can see in dmesg and /var/log/messages:
