Refactor

Post by cjm51213 »

Hi Folks,
I want to move some things. In particular I have:
  • Volume1 Shares: d0, d2
    Volume2 Shares: d1
    Volume3 Shares: d3
    Volume4 Shares: d4
I want to:
  • Eliminate d2
    rename d3 ==> d2
    rename d4 ==> d3
This must be available somewhere, but I cannot find how to do this. I expected "File Explorer" to do this, but I can neither delete a share, nor "unshare" it, not rename it. Where do find this ability?

Thanks for the help,

Chris.

I was also looking for how to "unshare" a folder. When I started to delete the folder using "Access Control - Shared Folders" I got a warning that I was about to delete all the files in the folder - like forever. That is not what I want. Can someone help me understand?

The shares you have are direct links to the data volumes. So there's no such term as unshare in ADM. You can either change its permission to restrict access or make it invisible on the network.
