[AS6104T] HDD-replacement without losing data

Dears,

I do have an quick question about HDD-replacement for my NAS ‘AS6104T’!

current situation:
drive 1 - 3TB - ADM + data (I think ADM has been installed on drive 1, right?)
drive 2 - 6TB - data
drive 3 - 6TB - data
drive 4 - 8TB - data

goal should be:
Replace drive 1 (3TB -> 8TB or higher), install ADM on it by using Control Center on PC, put drives 2, 3, 4 back into NAS and ALL is running well and new installed ADM will accept drives 2, 3, 4 WITHOUT ANY DATA LOSS!

question now will be: HOW TO REPLACE DRIVE 1 AND USE ALL DRIVES (2,3,4) WITHOUT DATA LOSS AFTERWARDS ONCE ADM HAS BEEN INSTALLED ON NEW DRIVE 1?

Possible to do the following?

1) Export current configuration-settings, unplug all drives, replace drive 1 and rollback settings-file?
a)… export the current NAS-ADM-configuration (3.1.5.RJ45 = installed currenctly) to PC (How/Where am I able to export the current settings and rollback settings after drive-replacement?)
b)… turn off AS6104T
c)… unplug ALL four drives
d)… replace drive 1 (3TB) with new drive (8TB)
e)… plug drive 1 (8TB) into bay 1 (drive 2, 3, 4 = still unplugged)
f)… turn on AS6104T
g)… download latest Control Center (2.1.1.29150) and install on PC
h)… install settings while using Control Center to new drive (8TB)
i)… once installed turn off AS6104T
j)… plug drive 2, 3, 4 back to NAS again
k)… turn on AS6104T
l)… AS6104T should recognize drive 2, 3, 4 with all data on it again WITHOUT LOOSING DATA
==> IS THAT POSSIBLE? IF YES, THAT WOULD BE THE EASIEST WAY TO REPLACE MAIN-DRIVE!

OR

2) How am I able to easily replace drive 1 (3TB -> 8TB) and keep data on drives 2, 3, 4 working well once drive 1 has been replaced (and ADM has been installed on it)? Are the following steps correct?
a)… turn off AS6104T
b)… unplug ALL four drives
c)… replace drive 1 (3TB) with new drive (8TB)
d)… plug drive 1 (8TB) into bay 1 (drive 2, 3, 4 = still unplugged)
e)… turn on AS6104T
f)… download latest Control Center (2.1.1.29150) and install on PC
g)… download latest ADM (3.1.5.RJ45) and store on PC
h)… run Control Center and install ADM.img from PC onto drive 1 (8TB)
i)… once installed turn off AS6104T
j)… plug drive 2, 3, 4 back to NAS again
k)… turn on AS6104T
l)… AS6104T should recognize drive 2, 3, 4 with all data on it again WITHOUT LOOSING DATA
==> OR DO I HAVE TO DO THOSE STEPS?

I really do not want to lose any DATA on drives 2, 3, 4 while replacing drive 1!

The ways that you mentioned are actually PC styles. I mean you can do that way manually on a Linux PC platform. Unfortunately, the NAS is not an open Linux system. It only provides one formal way for capacity expansion: https://www.asustor.com/en/online/Colle ... ?topic=352

It's still possible to do "your ways" to expand your "volume-1" by cracking NAS internal files. However, it's too risky (I won't try it).

thanks for your reply.
First I do have to mention that I am using all for drives as 'SINGLES' without RAID-usage.
So that means to me that it is impossible to replace drive 1 by keeping data on drives 2, 3, 4 still working afterwards. That' is really bad.
