xmr-stak eating 100% of the CPU

Hi guys.
I need help ASAP with the NAS.
I've just logged in and I could see 100% being eaten by the xmr-stak process.
It looks like a damn miner.
Is there any way to stop it?!
I don't know how it got there but I'm the only one who manages the unit and has the admin username and password. How did it get there?????
I just got an external drive and I'm backing up the data as I type. I need to reboot the NAS and update its software.
Update:
I've just terminated the miner through shell.
Thanks!
