I really tired of ads and are using adblockers on everything, but now my new shiny Crapsung TV is showing ads and i cannot turn it off så i need to install a PI-Hole server. Is there a possibility to install pihole on the asustor? Is it very advanced? In not good at linux at all...

Hi,
As I know ... PI-Hole can be installed in a virtual machine (Virtualbox) using an Ubuntu or any Linux distro. (search : pi_hole virtualbox in google or other)
BUT due to the fact that PI-Hole MUST be used as a DNS server and DHCP ... to enforce exchange to pass-through ... you can have some problem if the V.M. is not up when you start your "clients"
PI-Hole is really interesting if you can dedicate a server for it ... like a Raspberry-PI
But you can (if tv is able to use a proxy) use a proxy like privproxy or nginx ... with limited configuration rules ... you can get it on NAS using AppCerntral or Entware APKG
Philippe.

Hi I have the same nas (6202t) and I note that pi-hole app is present in the store.
It works with docker. But after installation I can't access to the admin page.
