Hello,
FYI, I've successfully replaced the default 2 x 2 GB RAM to 2 x 8 GB without any issue in my AS6204T. I couldn't find it on the compatibility list, especially when it is about 16 GB instead of the supported maximum 8 GB, but apparently, it is working well.
I've used this from Amazon:

With 2 x 8 GB memory installed, the booting gets stuck with the blinking "STARTING UP SYSTEM, Please wait..." message and the little green lights on each drive never turn on (even though you can hear some clicking from the drives initially). With 2 x 4 GB the green lights turn on immediately and the booting proceeds normally.
I tested different configurations multiple times. I also tested 8 GB alone and 8 GB + 4 GB but this does not work either. OTOH, 4 GB alone works.
This was with the latest ADM (4.1.0.RLQ1). I have 2 x 10 TB HDDs in RAID 1 in drives 2 and 4 and 2 x 450 GB SSDs mounted as cache in drives 1 and 3. I also tried unmounting and removing the two cache disks, but no luck with this configuration, either.
At one point (reverting to 2 x 4 GB) it did not start up normally, but instead showed "INITIALIZING BOOT..." and "READING BOOT..." for several minutes. I feared that I had triggered a factory reset that would erase everything, but fortunately my system finally came up with everything intact, including both the latest ADM version, all installed apps, and my settings and data.

Re: AS6204T 16 Gb Timetec RAM
Good news: after ordering 16 GB of RAM from Komputerbay that was explicitly rated as Dual Channel I got it to work in my AS6404T:

Weird thing is that AS6204T also supports Dual-Channel memory, so why did the Timetec memory work in that case?
