No problem! And I sort of agree, but I can also see why they made it that way since you can configure Transmission while it is running and send configuration commands, saving the current configuration on exit makes sense. There are of course other ways to do it, but they chose that and we get to be confused .

What is the path to this settings.json file? i"ve tried volume1/Download/.transmission. No luck.

No problem. Pull out it to PC/Mac, edit, then upload back.
But remember, teansmission must be stopped.

How does one install? I downloaded, ensured execute was in permissions and launched (in PuTTY). Received

Hello Canufrank,

It appears you have downloaded plex media server and might be posting in the wrong forum or have the wrong package.
The .apk you tried to install isn't the latest available on Asustor. For the latest version check https://plex.tv/downloads.

If you want to install an .apk file, logon to ADM. Then start App Central and look for the option "Manual installation" and locate your .apk. Then the .apk will install.

Yes, you're quite right Captain. I just installed the first .apk I saw sitting in that folder, AND I forgot about the manual install in AppCentral. Thanks for spotting that and reminding me. All's well now.

How I can configure "watching directory" feature in Transmission? It's very handy when you have several PC's at home. I used it in Utorrent but I don't see it in the Transmission now.
