Netflix in Full HD

Want to buy the AS3202T (with HDMI) . My question is : does Netflix run in Full HD on this NAS or do I have to buy the AS6202T ?

Last year I bought a Minix Neo X8-H Plus Android TV box and was very disappointed because no android TV box runs Netflix in Full HD , only in SD .(Except Amazon Fire TV and the Chromecast dongle)

Do not want to make the same mistake again. Can somebody clear me up on this matter ?

Hi,

Result are dependent of the player

On Linux only player using HTML5 (or Windows silverlight ... so difficult) exist for Linux

Netflix limit (for the moment) the resolution for this kind of player ... so ... 720P seems the max. but on Chrome a "Super Netflix" extension exist ... BUT I never test it ...
The problem is from Netflix none from Chrome or Linux ...

I have not tested from some time ... I will run a test to show the result ...

Thanks for your reply and sorry to tell you Netflix does not run in Full HD on either AS3202T or AS6202T.
The reason is that Chrome doe not support 1080p playback on Netflix and Chrome is what we used for Netflix in ASUSTOR PORTAL that can only support up to 720p HD content category.

It is clear to me know that Netflix is the problem as on Android TV Players. So would not be a solution for me to buy a Nas with HDMI output . Maybe rather go for a Chromecast dongle to get Full HD.
