Hi All,
My name is Sergio, I consider myself an advanced user. I'm one click away from buying an Asustor AS5004T since it clicks 90% of the boxes, and the only think I'm wondering is if the Asustor ADM is flexible enough to install other utility packages, which may not be found on the Applications to download.
I'm specifically looking for information in how to install dnsmasq, which will act as my dhcp and dns server. I actually need this asustor to be 24x7 acting as a DNS and DHCP server.
What's your experience on this, can this be achieved? Any comments?
Hi All, and quick query

As far as I know, there are no DNS / DHCP servers built in. However, asustor releases certain amount of development kit. So it's possible for advanced users to develop proprietary or public applications. As an alternative way, AS5004T supports virtual box which you can install other OS.

Cheers Orion,
I guess that is a workaround having a VM, not ideal, but workable.

Sergio
