No problem Philippe! Btw today I did a update of the new beta version of Domoticz within Domoticz and it worked well (version number updated). So it looks like it's working well! Merci!

Hi,

I'm a newbie in domotic. I use a fresh install of domoticz on asustor.
I pluged my just bought Conbee2 directly on the nas. I installed requests for Python to make deconz plug-in works.
Now, i'm stucked on deconz configuration. I let 127.0.0.1 / 80 / 1234567890 as defaut setting because : "(if deCONZ and domoticz are on same machine)"
but obvioulsy the plug-in is not reaching the key.
Can anyone help me ?

Here's the log:

Hi,

No idea, but I suggest you to don't use port 80 IF it's already used by A.D.M.

Domoticz run in an Ubuntu focal (20.04 L.T.S.) environment BUT share the networks (I.P. and Port) with A.D.M., so if port 80 is already in used by A.D.M. you can't use it.
... change in A.D.M. (Web server) ... even Web server is not enable A.D.M. use port 80 for an internal server (redirecting to administration) named myhttpd OR AND BETTER change in your Domoticz plugin configuration (suppose it's documented by the dev.).

To list the port in used do in a terminal root/your_admin_password
/bin/netstat -lptn (in result in "Local Address" column ... port is after the ":" ... program using it is at end of the line (PID/program name)

Hi Philippe,

Merci pour ta réponse.
Correct, the port 80 is already in used by A.D.M. So I change to a random port.

Logs says:
2020-08-23 21:10:40.603 (deConz bridge) Making Request : http://127.0.0.1:14242/api/1234567890/config/ with params None
2020-08-23 21:10:40.611 Error: (deConz bridge) Connexion problem (3) with Gateway, check your API key, or Use Request lib > V2.4.2

So, i checked Request lib version:
pip3 list
Package Version
---------- ---------
pip 20.0.2
requests 2.24.0

Finaly I tried to generate the api key:
root@NAS:/opt/domoticz/plugins/Domoticz-deCONZ# python3 API_KEY.py 127.0.0.1:14242 create
Connection error : [Errno 111] Connection refused

Is there something to setup for the usb dongle pluged on asustor to be found by domoticz ?

Best regards,

Hi,

I will check, perhaps your dongle need a driver ??? (even I don't own this kind of hardware, so don't hesitate to ask to the domoticz forum ... )

Please open a separate thread ... so we can have specific exchange ... with others users ...
and without populate this topics specific to announcement.

due to specific USB tty device generated, please provide :
dmesg output
ls -l /dev/tty*

did you install deconz software using deb file ?

I was wondering if there is a solution to the message bar that keeps appearing all the time:
Browser cache refresh failed.
Loaded 107 of 685 files.

This is the case of iPhones, iPads and Macs.
I tried clearing history and website data, to no avail.
I tried to look for the file html5.appcache in ~/domoticz/www to perform the workaround that is mentioned on https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... 07#p250729 for Raspberry Pi setups
but the www folder does not seem to exsist in this version of Domoticz or I cannot find it.
There is also the renaming trick of html5.appcache but that also does not seem to apply to this domoticz version, mentioned on https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... me#p247619

Please help, if you have any information about this to get rid of this annoying message.
It is temporary and will disappear, other than that it just seem to be merely a cosmetic problem.

Hi,

To be able to have best libraries and security ... this version of domoticz run in a private Ubuntu environment.
Open a ssh connection using root/your_admin_password (root NOT admin)
... so enter first in Ubuntu :
domoticz_mngt enter_in_ubuntu
... the go to domoticz folder (system level not attached to a specific user_name to avoid problem with A.D.M. access rules)
cd /opt/domoticz/www/
...
do what you want following domoticz forum message ....
then quit Ubuntu
exit

[EDIT] ... F.Y.I. it's also possible without entering in Ubuntu to go to the folder BUT take care ... especially if domoticz run ...
cd /usr/local/AppCentral/domoticz/focal_$(uname -m)/opt/domoticz
[END EDIT]

Thank you for your perfect instructions, Philippe. Again!

I had to find you how to delete a line + save afterwards and such, using the vi editor in Ubuntu, but I managed :D
No more browser cache messages after. 8-) At first it came with a long Refresh... message, but after that, perfection!

Just like the time zone correction, I made sure I turned off Domoticz and restarted it within ADM to make sure the modifications were effective.

Hi,

I am late with the patch ... due to personal problem (Asustor APKG is just a hobby ... I am not a professional ... just a person sharing its poor and limited works and knowledge)

I will try to out the patch as soon as possible (before end of this week-end)
